Jake and Brett finish a series on Advent and discuss how it’s worth being aware of how much we relate to God for what He has instead of who He is.

Key Points
We are invited to mine the treasures of God and not dismiss them always looking for another novelty
The Scriptures are alive and living
We tend to crave novelty
God respects our mediocrity which leaves us unfulfilled; He doesn’t force Himself upon us
Being in a relationship with God means honouring Him as Himself - we need to let God be Himself and not demand He be what we want
Prayer is mutual encounter with Jesus as he is
